Whiskey Canyon Ranch is a family owned and run ranch on two thousand acres nestled in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. The ranch boasts beautiful rolling hills and pastures filled with horses of all ages. 

We've been breeding Paint and some Quarter cutting/cow/ranch versitility horses since the 80s, 3 familial generations and 6 equine generations now, and while that won't entirely change a few things will. 

With APHAs 2024 decision to dissolve the solid-bred division and no long require a Paint horse to have any color, we will be shifting to breeding high caliber Tobiano cutting/cow/ranch versatility horses over the next several years as well as start shifting support to the newly formed ATHA, as a way to protect the true 'colored horse' and the breeders who strive for them. If an association forms to protect the colored Overo horse, we will help in supporting them as well.
